This is one of the most popular jobs in the world. The cleaning industry is a huge one as you have sub sectors such as carpet cleaning, window cleaning, and the Laundromats. These services provide people with the required means of keeping their houses clean. There is high demand for cleaners all over as the current providers have their hands full and some more. Getting cleaning jobs does not require any certification or degree of a sort. In fact all it requires is the ability to be able to clean anywhere and anything the cleaner is assigned to. One of the biggest sub sectors here is the carpet cleaning sector. Jobs in this niche are not hard to find. There are no education requirements to work here except in a large chain that needs the services of a manager, supervisor or any other position requiring some form of education. Cleaning the carpet takes a little practice but is easy when you get the hang of it. To clean carpets, you would need a vacuum cleaner, and other cleaning agents like detergents. To apply all you need to do is look into the newspapers and classified ads pages. You can also do a quick search online and use the keywords "cleaning service wanted", "cleaners wanted" and so on. The necessary requirements are just e desire to work and clean up places and learn on the job. If you have no idea about the cleaning procedures, you would be trained and within a week, you should be able to do it reasonably well. Window cleaning is also another excellent job opportunity. Window cleaning is an art and mostly requires the individual to clean and shine the windows so well that it will virtually reflect light. The process of finding jobs like this is also the same as any –look in the papers, surf the ‘net and ask around. However, the first few days on the job are the hardest because your unfamiliarity with cleaning glasses and louver panes can cause you to get cut severally. But with time, you will get better at it. Some window cleaners have been known to earn as much as £250 translating into £7500 a month. Of course these are those who are well established in the market and have had a lot of experience. As a greenhorn and new employee, you can earn between £1000 and £2500 a month. With time however, you would go up to earning six figures a year with rich clients.
